Tuesday's Working Bee
On Tuesday Gavin gave us a whole day and worked on the electrical with Sam. Then several heroic beings came in after a day at work and helped us into the evening - in fact, I'm at home blogging, and they are still at it, and it is 9.30pm! Thanks, guys - especially Gavin, but also Tim, David, Isaac, John, and Dad.
I hold a greater respect for a light switch than I used to after today!
The kitchen crew - Cindy and Carien. Thanks ever so much!
The man in the blue overalls is the man with the power - the electrician.
Thanks, Gavin!
The team and families eating dinner.
I don't know where she got the black moustache...
Ira stuffing himself while no one's looking...

Still getting ready for the Roof

Preparing for the Roof
Upstairs
The loft upstairs
Looking downstairs from aloft. All those sheets of ply stacked in front of the fire are the cladding. Doesn't look like much, does it? We'll be painting it soon - it'll feel like more then, no doubt!
Looking down from aloft. The hole in the wall on the left will be a window, the one on the right, french doors.
Looking down, still. We're hoping to run a window seat along these windows. On the right is a small playroom/nursery. Behind it (for the record, if you're visiting) is the toilet and bathroom.
This is my favourite bedroom. If you come to visit, I'll try and put you in here. Marijke has first dibs on it, though.
